With more women entering the profession of dentistry (over 47% of dental school students nationwide), the KDA recognizes the need to appeal to women.
One goal of HighHeels & Handpieces is to encourage more women dentists to be involved in organized dentistry, thus increasing the number of women members within the association.
“We are very enthused to include the ever growing number of women dentists to the Kansas Dental Association,” said Dr. Melodee Armfield, the 2018-2019 KDA President. “HighHeels & Handpieces will be a great opportunity for women dentists to network with their peers.”
