ADA Collaborates with Partnership for Drug-Free Kids to Promote "Search and Rescue" Campaign

Apr 8, 2024
The American Dental Association's most recent collaboration with the Partnership for Drug-Free Kids aims to promote the "Search and Rescue" opioid prescriber education campaign.

According to the CDC, most drug overdose deaths (more than 6 out of 10) involve opioid use, and overdoses from prescription opioid pain relievers are a driving factor behind the 17-year increase in opioid overdose deaths.

As part of the strategy to reach as many U.S. prescribers as possible, the Partnership is working closely with national organizations, including the ADA, the American Medical Association Task Force to Reduce Prescription Opioid Abuse, the American Academy of Pediatrics, others to promote “Search and Rescue” to their members.
